Spring/Summer 2010: Trains are running!
Visitors are welcome Saturdays, Sundays and Monday Holidays through September with regularly scheduled trains available.

July 19 - 23: Work Week. Usually crews equipped with string trimmers clear the grass on the line. Other jobs may be available based on interest and crew availability.

August 14 & 15: Annual Picnic.
· Food and fun for everyone. Picnic lunch from 11 - 2.

· Celebrate the Museum’s purchase of original 1894 railway coach #3 with Special Directors’ Trains Saturday at 8.30 a.m. & 6 p.m., a Special Director’s Mixed Train Saturday evening at 8 p.m., and a Special Mixed Train Sunday at 8 a.m. Proceeds from these extra fare trains will help defray our Museum’s purchase cost of coach #3. Ticket holders will receive a special print of coach #3.

· Welcome the Museum’s brand new Model T rail car, based on an historic car from Maine’s Sandy River Railroad! Our Model T will run between Sheepscot & Alna Center stations all day Saturday and Sunday, and to the end of the line Saturday evening. One evening Model T rail car train will meet the 6 p.m. Directors’ Train at Alna Center station.

September 4 - 6: Labor Day Weekend: Steam trains on Saturday and Sunday. Diesel trains on Monday.

September 25: Lincoln County Fall Festival. Featuring grilled food, handcar rides, railcar rides, steam trains, hayrides.
Tickets half price for Lincoln County residents.

October 8 - 11: Autumn Work Weekend. Come help extend our track and/or help with other projects on the railroad.
Work is from 7 - 5; lunch and supper are provided by the Museum to the volunteers.
