WW&F participating in the Whitefield Lions Club Train and Doll Show at the Augusta (ME) National Guard Armory on Western Avenue.
Saturday - Monday, February 15 - 17: Winter Work Weekend.
Help clear the right-of-way of trees and debris.
Other projects as time, weather, and resources permit.
Saturdays, April 5 - May 17: Train Rides, Every Saturday.
Museum grounds are open 9am - 5pm every Saturday.
Trains run at 11pm, 12.30pm, and 2.30pm.
NOTE: Train rides are diesel powered or with our Model T inspection car (weather and crew permitting).
Saturday, April 19: Easter
Eggspress: Spring Steam-Up.
Museum grounds are open 9am - 5pm.
Steam Train Rides 12pm - 3pm. Easter Egg Hunt and other family activities. First public steam trains for the 2014 season.
Friday - Sunday, April 25 - 27: Spring
Come help build and prepare the railroad for the coming summer season.
Work is from 7am - 5pm; lunch and supper are provided by the Museum to the volunteers.
Steam train may be running, but may be reserved for work crews.
Limited train rides available for those not wishing to join the volunteer corps.
Saturday, May 3: Annual Meeting.
Hear the business of the museum for the prior year.
The meeting starts at 2pm, and is held at the historic Alna Meeting House on Route 218 about 2 miles north of the Museum.
